TRL Krosaki Refractories (TRL) observed the 108th birth anniversary of JRD Tata at JRD Tata Park, Belpahar today, July 29, 2012. Citizens
of Belpahar, senior executives, employees and retired employees of TRL, media
persons, president and members of the ladies club, president and members of
TRL Krosaki Refractories Shramik Sangha (TRSS), teachers and students of BEM School, BR High School, Sunshine School, Rural Self Employment Training
Institute (RSETI) and Prerana, a school for mentally challenged children attended
the function and paid floral tribute to the doyen of Indian industries, JRD Tata,
by garlanding his bust inside the park.
Dr MR Nayak, chief of PR and HRD, TRL, welcomed the guests after the opening
song by students of BR High School. Selected students, employees of TRL, citizens
highlighted the principles and ideals of JRD Tata. Chief guest of the function,
Kiyotaka Oshikawa of Krosaki Harima Corporation and a director in the TRL
Krosaki board of directors addressed the public on the occasion. PK
Aich, president of TRSS, also gave a brief talk on the contribution of JRD Tata
to the Indian industry. Dr MR Nayak read out the message of Dr AK Chattopadhyay,
MD, TRL, at the occasion. Saheli Ganguli, a graduate trainee, proposed
the vote of thanks.
