Mumbai: Tata Chemicals has been recognised as India’s Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) winner 2011. The award was presented in a glittering ceremony during the 6th Knowledge Summit organised by Confederation of Indian Industry at Bengaluru, on January 31, 2012. A panel of India-based Fortune 500 senior executives and internationally recognised knowledge management / intellectual capital experts selected the winners. The 2011 India MAKE panel has recognised Tata Chemicals for developing knowledge-based products / services / solutions, and transforming enterprise knowledge into stakeholder value.

The panel rated organisations against the MAKE framework of eight key knowledge performance dimensions that are visible drivers of competitive advantage and intellectual capital growth: creating an enterprise knowledge-driven culture, developing knowledge workers through senior management leadership, innovation, maximising enterprise intellectual capital, creating an enterprise collaborative knowledge sharing environment, creating a learning organisation, delivering value based on customer / stakeholder knowledge, and transforming enterprise knowledge into shareholder / stakeholder value.
The MAKE study recognises organisations which are leaders in creating organisational intellectual capital and value, through the transformation of individual or enterprise knowledge into superior products, services or solutions.
