Tata Metaliks manufactures and markets foundry-grade pig iron. Incorporated in 1990, the company was promoted by Tata Steel and assisted by the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation with Tata Korf Engineering Services as a technology consultant and KTS Brazil as the technology supplier.

The company’s geographical footprint covers markets in the eastern and northern foundry belts of India, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and Bangladesh.

Tata Metaliks has two furnaces in Kharagpur (West Bengal) and three in Redi (in Maharashtra). The facilities are among the most advanced of its kind and the company has access to the finest mineral resources in India.

Joint ventures, subsidiaries, associates
Tata Metaliks Kubota Pipes is a three-way joint venture between Tata Metaliks and Japan-based companies Kubota Corporation and Metal One Corporation. It was established in July 2007 to manufacture and market ductile iron pipes.
