Titan Industries has bagged the Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2003, in the large scale manufacturing category. The award was presented during the 5th World Congress on Environment Management at Palampur in Himachal Pradesh. Titan Industries plant has achieved a reduced water consumption of 47 per cent per product, bringing down to 39 litres in 2002-03 from 79 litres in 1996-97.
